Refund & Cancellation Policy (Digital Services)

This policy describes how refunds and cancellations are handled for services provided by Axium Web Development.

2. Description of Services

Axium Web Development provides professional digital services related to website development and e-commerce optimization.

Services may include:

  • Website and online store development

  • Shopify theme customization

  • E-commerce store optimization

  • User experience and layout improvements

  • Performance and mobile responsiveness enhancements

  • Integration of apps, analytics, and technical tools

All work is delivered as custom digital development and consulting services for business clients.

Axium Web Development:

  • does not sell physical goods

  • does not operate an online marketplace

  • does not collect payments from customers of our clients

  • provides technical services and consulting only

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a project is cancelled before any work has started, the full payment will be refunded.

Work is considered started once planning, design, development, technical setup, or configuration begins.

4. Cancellation After Work Has Started

Since all services are customized and time-based, refunds after work has begun are calculated according to the portion of the work already completed.

If a project is cancelled during development:

  • the client is charged only for completed work

  • any unused portion of the payment will be refunded

Completed deliverables, implemented work, or finished project stages cannot be refunded.

5. Milestones and Project Stages

Projects are commonly completed in multiple phases.

Once a project stage has been delivered and approved, or once the client confirms that development should proceed to the next phase, that stage is considered completed and payment for that stage becomes non-refundable.

If any issue arises during a milestone review, we will make reasonable corrections before continuing the project.

6. Revisions

Reasonable revisions that fall within the originally agreed project scope are included.

Requests for additional functionality, structural changes, extra pages, or integrations outside the original scope may require a separate quote. Any additional work will always be discussed and approved beforehand.

7. Client Responsibilities

Project timelines depend on receiving necessary information and access from the client.

Clients are responsible for providing:

  • website or platform access

  • store or hosting credentials

  • product or content data

  • brand assets and media

  • timely feedback and approvals

If required materials are delayed, project timelines may be adjusted accordingly.

If the client does not respond for 30 days, the project may be temporarily marked as inactive. Work can be resumed later, and any refund will be calculated based on the work already completed.

8. If We Are Unable to Deliver

If Axium Web Development is unable to complete the agreed service due to reasons on our side, a fair refund will be issued for any portion of the work that has not been delivered.

9. Third-Party Costs

Some services require tools or products provided by third-party companies. These costs are outside the control of Axium Web Development and cannot be refunded once purchased.

Examples include:

  • premium themes

  • software or app subscriptions

  • hosting services or domains

  • external development tools

  • payment processing fees

Clients will always be informed before such costs are incurred.

10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Processing times typically range between 5 and 10 business days, depending on the payment provider or bank.
